Jeeves International will also liaise directly with the Franchisee’s Architect, Graphic Designer and Machinery Suppliers in the UK.
Because the Franchisee will need to make a substantial investment we have taken the view that long term security of tenure will be expected, which can be built into the term of the Franchise.
The Franchisee is responsible for their own legal costs. If after a deposit is paid, the Franchisee decides not to proceed for any reason, Jeeves International will charge any reasonable expenses already incurred for any legal and administrative costs before returning any residual deposit.
All prospective Franchisees must prepare a detailed Business Plan in order to satisfy themselves of the quality of the proposal and the likelihood of success.
Jeeves International Ltd receives an ongoing management service fee, linked to turnover excluding any sales tax . The fees are paid quarterly the end of the next quarter. There are no Management Service fees charged for the first six months after opening .
Jeeves International's machinery suppliers, the largest manufacturer of clothes care equipment in Europe, can provide a full range of environmentally approved machines. The 'Suppliers Package' includes full training in conjunction with our Training Consultants. Equipment supplied by them will be commissioned by a fully qualified Engineer who visits every Jeeves installation. Maintenance training forms part of the two week Commissioning Programme.
The annual sum of £5,000 or 1.5% of gross turnover, whichever is the greater is to be spent by the franchisee on advertising and public relations.
As part of the 'Franchise Package' the Franchisee will receive a copies of Jeeves International's Operations Manual and Technical manuals which sets out the functions of the Jeeves business, and general advice on implementation.
Jeeves International may use outside consultants for design, planning and IT requirements, which may incur additional costs for the franchisee. Additional costs will be declared to the franchisee for agreement prior to any work being undertaken on their behalf.
Jeeves in London is the main training base for both management and operational staff. Other franchise locations, local to the franchisee may be used to mimimise travelling and training costs. All training is to ensure the highest possible standards are reached before the Franchise opens and that the standards are maintained. Additional training may be available at the Franchisee premises at an additional cost either at start up or later.
Branded stationary, packaging, retail products and art work need to conform to the operational standard of Jeeves International who will send supporting artwork and advise on design prior to approval.
