Jeeves of Belgravia are proudly sponsoring this fashion show in aid of Fine Cell Work. Fine Cell Work operate in around 30 British Prisons, providing embroidery kits and training to prisoners. They also have a hub in Battersea, where they provide post release support for prisoners. Here at Jeeves, we are proud to support Fine Cell Work. A Visit from Vogue

What really happens to couture dresses and designer shirts?

Last month we invited Vogue writer Sarah Harris along to a personal tour of our Tottenham Specialist Centre in North London hosted by our resident expert Andy Savva. 

Sarah wanted to know exactly what happens to her couture dresses and designer shirts during the dry cleaning process. With Andy, she saw her items go through our intensive seven stage process. 

"The spotting area is the first port of call. Stains are examined; if they can't be detected, a steam gun will determine the type and then it's spot-treated with the relevant chemical, which works together with the solvent in the dry cleaning machine" writes Sarah.
