Jeeves Gets a Special Mention in Elle Magazine

The January 2017 edition of Elle magazine contained a special feature dedicated to taking care of your garments. We were delighted when the editorial team took some advice from one of our long established and suitably experienced Jeeves Branch Operations Manager, Jan Haste. The Finest Christmas Events

As the big day isn’t so far away we thought it would be nice to collate a list of the finest festive events happening across London this Christmas.

Throughout the capitol you are spoilt for choice with a wonderful array of fairs, festivals and other frivolities. Perhaps the most excitable for both the big and small kids is the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, that takes place from 18th November right through until 2nd January. This huge annual winter fair boasts many attractions which include an ice rink, fun fair, countless mulled wine and Bavarian style stalls, Christmas markets, ice sculptures and even a 53 metre high observational wheel – if you can stand the cold up there! A lot of celebrities have been spotted at this event and it’s always busy, so if you’re looking for something a little quieter, this may not be for you.

In Camden, the Christmas market has been running weekly throughout December and ends on the 22nd so there is still time to get some last minute unique presents there before Santa takes over. If you’re looking for a more traditional Christmas experience you can always join in with the magical Christmas carol singing at St. Pauls Cathedral on Friday 23rd – Saturday 24th December, a delightfully heart-warming way to begin Christmas.

Perhaps one of the most original and energising events on the London Christmas calendar is the ‘Beyond the Waterfall’ cocktail odyssey hosted by Bompas and Parr. A strictly adults only winter wonderland that’s running until Friday 23rd December at the Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush. The event is set to take attendees on a magical voyage through a waterfall and then across a lagoon before landing at a mysterious island, with an intriguing cocktail bar that is run by mythical creatures. You can find out more here: http://bompasandparr.com/projects/view/beyond-the-waterfall/

Whatever you are doing this festive season we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017 from all of us here at Jeeves of Belgravia.
